Mr Kris Taenar Wiluan

Chairman of the Board
Mr Wiluan was appointed the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of KS Energy in 2006. He founded the Citramas Group in 1980. The Group’s business activities include oilfield equipment manufacturing, shipping and logistics, drilling services, infrastructure development comprising port, ferry terminals and telephone companies, and the hotel and leisure industry. Under the umbrella of the Citramas Group is the Indonesian public-listed PT Citra Tubindo Tbk, a manufacturer of tubular products for the oil and gas industry whose shares are quoted on the Jakarta and Surabaya Stock Exchanges, and 35 other subsidiaries whose activities span different parts of ASEAN.

The Citramas Group provides employment to more than 3,000 employees across the region. The President of the Citramas Group, Mr Wiluan is also the President Director of PT Citra Tubindo Tbk, and the Chairman of PT Citra Bonang, a Jakarta-based manufacturer and distributor of industrial chemicals and food products. PT Citra Bonang group of companies has more than 50 branches throughout Indonesia and employs a workforce of more than 10,000 people.

A graduate from London University with a BSc Honours Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, Mr Wiluan was awarded “CEO of the Year” by Bisnis Indonesia and in the following year, he was named “The Best CEO 2008” by SWA magazine. In 2009, he was awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Ernst & Young Indonesia and represents Indonesia in the EY Global Entrepreneur Hall of Fame.

Dr. Adam Paul Brunet

Deputy Chairman
Dr Brunet has worked in the oil industry since he left college in 1977 and started work as a Field Engineer for Schlumberger S.A. in West Africa. Since 1983, Dr Brunet has been involved in establishing and managing PT Citra Tubindo Tbk and associated Citramas group manufacturing companies. He oversees the manufacturing processes, engineering and business development as well as procurement and marketing functions of the Citramas group manufacturing companies.

Dr Brunet, a postgraduate from Oxford University, is also an established academic who specialises in operations management. Through strategic alliances and joint ventures, Dr Brunet has capitalised on Tubindo’s engineering capabilities to develop new technologies, products and services, transforming the company into an export driven entity supplying global oil and gas companies. In 2003, he established NS Connection Technologies to develop the market for Tubindo’s intellectual property.

From 2006, Dr Brunet has acted as an Executive Director in KS Energy focusing on the Capital Equipment Division and later Managing Director of Oil, Gas and Energy Services. In January 2009, Dr Brunet was appointed Executive Director of KS Energy subsidiary Atlantic Oilfield Services Ltd and became its CEO on 1 May 2009 which he transformed into KS Driling Pte Ltd in 2011. He continued as CEO until August 2013 when he was appointed Deputy Chairman.

Mr Richard James Wiluan

Executive Director
Mr Richard James Wiluan was appointed as Executive Director of the Company on 1 May 2014.

Mr Richard Wiluan is the President Director of Indonesian public-listed PT Citra Tubindo Tbk – a manufacturer of tubular products for the oil and gas industry whose shares are quoted on the Jakarta and Surabaya Stock Exchanges, and 35 other subsidiaries with activities spanning different countries in the ASEAN region.

Prior to joining the Group, he worked as a consultant in a European management consulting firm, focusing on restructuring solutions for multinational manufacturing companies.

Mr Richard Wiluan holds a BA (Honours) in Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Mr Samuel Paul Oliver Carew-Jones

Mr Samuel Paul Oliver Carew-Jones was appointed as an Executive Director of the Company on 15 August 2018. He has been with the Company since 2009 and was the Company’s Director of Treasury prior to his appointment as Group CFO in October 2012.

He had over fourteen years’ experience in the finance sector before joining the Company, including nine years in the banking industry with a major financial institution in Europe and the United States and four years as an auditor in London.

Mr Carew-Jones qualified as a chartered accountant in the United Kingdom in 1999 and graduated in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Imperial College London.

Ms Diana Leng

Ms Diana Leng has been with KS Energy since 2007. Prior to her appointment as CFO and Director of KS Drilling Pte Ltd in 2010, Ms Leng was the Director of Treasury of KS Energy Ltd. Ms Leng has over 18 years of executive experience within the Banking and Oil & Gas sectors, with a proven track record in the areas of treasury, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, equity and capital market activities, and strategic and corporate support.Ms Leng started her career with a global financial institution from the Netherlands where she gained experience in banking, insurance and asset management internationally. MS Leng holds a Master of Science in International Business from Maastricht University.

Mr Yasuhiko Asada

Mr Yasuhiko Asada has worked with Itochu Corporation since 1984 and appointed director of KS Drilling in 2011. Mr. Asada is ITOCHU Senior Officer for ITOCHU Asia & Oceania Block, Chief officer for Indonesia Area and president director of PT Itochu Indonesia . He had over 30 years’ experience in oil and gas industry especially project development.


Mr Jumeidi Alexander

Director, Special Projects & Business Development
As Advisor to the Board - Strategic Projects , Mr Alexander advises the board for the strategic projects to enable further growth of the company. He also advises the board on drilling business related matters and potential new frontiers for the company. In his vast experience in the drilling industry with Schlumberger, Transocean, Premium and Vantage Drilling, Mr Alexander assumed various key positions in international operations management, strategic planning and project management.
